In Our Laboratory

Location: Lexington, Kentucky

Wage: $12-$15 /hr 

Full Time Hours: 8 Hour Shift. 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday-Friday

Remote Work?: No

Reports to: Lab Manager 

It is preferred that the Lab Technician have experience in general molecular biology techniques including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, high throughput automation of RNA or DNA, and molecular genetic techniques. All tasks and duties must be completed in accordance and compliance with HIPAA guidelines, State and Federal laws, and current company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out molecular biology experiments following established SOP and/or guidance of laboratory management
Receive test samples according to SOPs
Perform DNA/RNA extraction, quantification, and gel QC per SOPs
Perform PCR, PCR clean up, and DNA sequencing per SOPs
Report experimental results to project managers in a timely manner
Follow established quality management policies and GLP and GMP practices
Performs other duties as assigned

Experience and Educations Requirements:

Bachelors of Science in Chemistry or Biology
GMP experience a plus
1+ years of previous industry laboratory experience is preferred
Industry experience in microbiology strongly preferred
Excellent communication skills
Be able to closely follow established SOPs

Experience with genetic lab work preferred
Experience with Illumina equipment preferred
Experience with Tecan machines preferred

Administration & Marketing

TruDiagnostic is seeking a skilled marketing generalist. 

Location: Lexington, Kentucky

Wage: $60,000 - $80,000 /yr

Full Time Hours: 8 Hour Shift. 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities 

  • Strategize and implement marketing, branding, and advertising plans. Coordinate marketing programs to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and growth.
  • Develop and execute cross-platform sales and marketing campaigns, including designing and producing web advertisements, emails, fliers, etc. 
  • Track & report KPI for marketing channels such as email, social media, or digital campaigns, and events.
  • Help establish and maintain consistent corporate image and brand voice throughout product lines, promotional materials, and events.
  • Stay up to date with market and online trends relevant to TruDiagonostic, to ensure campaigns and promotions stay relevant. 
  • Advance existing marketing projects and identify gaps and opportunities. 
  • Coordinate the delivery of marketing material to conventions, provider partners, and affiliate partners.
  • Assist with planning and managing conferences and events by identifying, coordinating, and assembling requirements, monitoring schedules, and coordinating databases and customer communications. 
  • Maintain and develop affiliate programs - fostering current affiliate relationships, identification and outreach.
  • Write, Proofread, or edit creative and technical content for marketing, digital communication, internal communication, and other mediums such as emails, advertisements, blogs, and website content as needed. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or similar field 
  • 3+ years of related work experience in Marketing, or a similar role with an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Creative thinking and proven systemic organizational skills to work independently without supervision, determine workload priorities, identify and resolve problems and work in a timely manner. 
  • Familiarity with a range of social and online advertising platforms, tools, and best practices. Including but not limited to: Shopify, Google Ads & Google Business Suite, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, etc. 

Also looking for: 

  • Ability to write and edit clear, engaging, and grammatically correct content, to bridge the gap between highly technical scientific language and common layman’s speech. 
  • Enthusiasm for scientific research and biotechnology - particularly epigenetics and longevity.
  • Experience growing communities across social media for a brand or organization through the creation of both paid and organic social strategies across all channels. 
  • Experience in the Integrative Health, Medical Diagnostic, or Medical Research industries.
